Overview
Everything you need at a glance — from who this package suits best to how the stay, pacing, and routing feel on the ground.
This 10-night Europe Grand Tour is designed to give you the very best of three of Europe's most iconic cities — the romance and art of Paris, the charming waterways and liberal spirit of Amsterdam, and the 3,000 years of history layered into every cobblestone of Rome.
Travel between cities is seamless — a scenic high-speed train connects Paris and Amsterdam, while a short flight brings you into Rome for the final chapter of the journey. Daily breakfast is included throughout, with private airport and intercity transfers at both ends. Each city has been paced to allow unhurried exploration rather than a checklist rush.

About the destination
Paris is one of the world's great capitals — a city where grand architecture, river cruises, intimate bistros, and landmark museums come together with unmistakable style. From the Eiffel Tower and the Seine to Montmartre, the Louvre, and the Left Bank, Paris rewards slow wandering and long dinners alike.
Itinerary
Day by day, the route balances movement, comfort, local moments, and enough breathing room to actually enjoy the trip.
Arrive at Charles de Gaulle International Airport and meet your private driver for a transfer to your hotel in central Paris. After check-in and freshening up, take an easy orientation walk to Montmartre — the bohemian hilltop neighbourhood crowned by the gleaming Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Wander the artist squares, browse galleries, and enjoy dinner at a neighbourhood bistro. Overnight in Paris.

After lunch, take a 1-hour Seine River cruise passing Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, and Musée d'Orsay from the water. Spend the afternoon strolling the Champs-Élysées from the Arc de Triomphe to Place de la Concorde, with luxury boutiques and grand cafés on either side. Overnight in Paris.

Spend the morning at the Louvre — the world's largest art museum and home to the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Plan at least 3 hours inside. After lunch, explore Le Marais — one of Paris's most vibrant historic districts, with medieval streets, art galleries, the Place des Vosges, and excellent Jewish and falafel restaurants. End the evening at a patisserie for Pierre Hermé or Ladurée macarons. Overnight in Paris.

Take a day trip to the Palace of Versailles — Louis XIV's extraordinary royal residence, 30 km southwest of Paris. Marvel at the Hall of Mirrors, the King's Grand Apartments, and the vast formal gardens with their sculpted fountains and groves. Return to Paris by late afternoon for a final evening in the city — consider a farewell dinner near Saint-Germain-des-Prés or a rooftop aperitivo. Overnight in Paris.

Breakfast
Check out of your Paris hotel and travel to Amsterdam aboard the Thalys or Eurostar high-speed train (approx. 3.5 hours). Arrive at Amsterdam Centraal Station and transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring the city on foot — walk the Prinsengracht and Herengracht canals, cross the iconic skinny bridges, and soak in the unique Dutch architecture of narrow canal houses leaning over the water. Evening at leisure in the Leidseplein or Jordaan district. Overnight in Amsterdam.
Mercure / NH Hotel / The Social Hub ★★★ or similar, Amsterdam
Breakfast
Morning visit to the Anne Frank House — the hidden annex where Anne Frank and her family hid during the Nazi occupation. Pre-book timed entry tickets well in advance. Afternoon at the Rijksmuseum, home to Rembrandt's monumental Night Watch and Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring. In the evening, take a private or shared canal boat cruise through Amsterdam's UNESCO-listed canal ring, lit beautifully at sunset. Overnight in Amsterdam.

Breakfast
A more relaxed day to absorb Amsterdam at your own pace. Morning walk through Vondelpark — the city's beloved green lung. Visit the Heineken Experience brewery tour (optional, book in advance). Optional evening canal-side dinner. Overnight in Amsterdam.

Breakfast
Transfer to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport for a flight to Rome Fiumicino Airport (approx. 2.5 hours). On arrival in Rome, transfer privately to your hotel in the historic centre. After check-in, take an evening stroll to the Trevi Fountain — best visited in the evening when the crowds thin and the floodlit baroque sculpture is at its most magical. Toss a coin to ensure your return. Overnight in Rome.
Hotel Artemide / Bettoja / Albergo del Senato ★★★ or similar, Rome
Breakfast
Dedicate the morning to Vatican City — the world's smallest sovereign state and home to arguably the greatest concentration of art and history anywhere on earth. Visit the Vatican Museums with their extraordinary collection culminating in the Sistine Chapel ceiling by Michelangelo. Then enter St Peter's Basilica — free to enter — and if time permits, climb the dome for sweeping views over Rome and the Tiber. Afternoon at leisure — explore Castel Sant'Angelo along the river. Overnight in Rome.
Hotel Artemide / Bettoja / Albergo del Senato ★★★ or similar, Rome
Breakfast
Morning at the Colosseum — the iconic 2,000-year-old amphitheatre that once hosted gladiatorial contests before 50,000 spectators. Combined ticket includes the adjacent Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, where Rome's earliest settlements were founded. Afternoon at leisure — explore the Spanish Steps and the Piazza di Spagna, or wander through Piazza Navona with its Bernini fountain. End the trip with a proper Roman dinner in Trastevere — the city's most atmospheric medieval neighbourhood — with trattorias spilling out onto cobblestone lanes. Overnight in Rome.
Hotel Artemide / Bettoja / Albergo del Senato ★★★ or similar, Rome
Breakfast
Enjoy a final Italian breakfast — cornetto and cappuccino — before checking out of your hotel. Transfer privately to Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) for your onward international flight home. Carry back a suitcase of memories: sunset over the Eiffel Tower, the reflections in Amsterdam's canals, and the weight of centuries in Rome's ancient stones.

FAQs
Yes — Indian passport holders require a Schengen visa to visit France, the Netherlands, and Italy. All three countries are part of the Schengen Area, so a single Schengen visa covers all three. Apply at the VFS centre for whichever country is your first port of entry (France in this itinerary). Apply at least 6–8 weeks before travel.
Entry fees for the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Versailles, Anne Frank House, Rijksmuseum, Vatican Museums, Colosseum, and other sites are not included in the package price. These are payable directly. For high-demand sites (Vatican, Anne Frank House, Colosseum), we strongly recommend pre-booking timed entry tickets 1–2 months in advance.
All three cities use the Euro (€). Cards are widely accepted in Paris, Amsterdam, and Rome, but carrying some cash is helpful for smaller cafés, markets, and churches. Amsterdam and Paris are relatively card-friendly; Rome still has some cash-only restaurants, especially in Trastevere.
Yes, with some caveats. The cities involve significant walking on cobblestone streets, particularly in Rome. The Colosseum, Versailles gardens, and Montmartre involve stairs or uneven terrain. We can adjust the pace and select hotels with lifts and easier access if needed — just let us know at time of booking.
Absolutely. Popular extensions include adding Barcelona or Prague, a Tuscany countryside day trip from Rome, a Loire Valley château day trip from Paris, or windmill day trips from Amsterdam to Zaanse Schans. This is a fully custom private itinerary.
Late April through June and September through October offer the best balance of pleasant weather, manageable crowds, and fair rates. July and August are the peak summer months — very busy, especially at tourist sites — but also offer long daylight hours and outdoor dining culture at its best.
